Challenges Faced

The double-height, exposed ceilings made re-wiring for proper task and ambient lighting extremely difficult without compromising the raw, warehouse aesthetic the clients loved.

Approach & Goals

Rather than hiding the infrastructure, our goal was to embrace it. We used exposed industrial metal conduits as a deliberate architectural feature, while introducing warm timber accents and plush textiles to soften the expansive space.

Outcome

A warm, inviting family living area that maintains its distinct industrial edge. The strategic lighting layout provides excellent ambient zoning for both entertaining and relaxing.
